Contact Angela CooperAngela is a registered Australian Psychologist and practising Catholic, holding a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She provides telehealth services to children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities, supporting them through a wide range of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, disability, substance use, dual diagnosis, and family or relationship issues. Angela brings a warm, client-centred approach to her work, creating a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their experiences and move toward positive change.
She draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), schema therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and narrative therapy. When aligned with a client’s values, Angela can also incorporate faith-informed perspectives to support holistic wellbeing.
With a strong belief in the inherent worth of every person, Angela sees psychological support as a pathway to both healing and growth. Her commitment to ongoing development is reflected in her engagement with psychodynamic therapy, reflective practice, and personal retreats, which continue to enrich her understanding of the therapeutic process from both a clinical and human perspective.
Angela is able to offer assessments (further details and costs available upon request).
